POP3 is a protocol for receiving mail with programs like Pegasus mail (freeware), Eudora, or MS Outlook Express (part of Windows). So if for some reason you cannot or do not wish to use our own WinCOM or MacCom, you may want to use these programs instead.

You need to supply the following information to your mail program:

POP3 server name: mail.pamho.net
SMTP server name: mail.pamho.net
(You must use authenticated SMTP, so in Outlook switch on
"My server requires authentication")
SMTP server port: 587 (instead of 25)
SSL: Off
Account name: May be any of the following:
  • your user number
  • your login name (= user name without the stuff in parentheses)
  • your e-mail address (xyz@pamho.net)
Password: your PAMHO password

In Outlook Express, you add an account in Tools > Accounts. Click Add > Mail... Write your name there, next your PAMHO e−mail address, and then the information as listed above.
